Practical Planning

Planning a Mountain-to-Coast Split Stay

Combine a village or hillside villa with Patara or another coastal base, coordinating dates, travel and the changeover with both owners.

Begin with the days you want to have, then choose the villa and arrangements that make them possible.

Give each setting a purpose

A split stay can let you settle into two different routines. Spend one part around a village or hillside house, with walks and time at the villa, then give the coast and beach outings their own place. Choose a combination that reflects what your group actually wants to do.

Allow each part enough time to feel like a stay. Avoid building an itinerary in which moving, packing and waiting for keys occupy most of the holiday.

Choose the properties together

The Almond Collection in Çukurbağ, Liberty Villas 33 in Yeniköy and The Patara Collection offer starting points for comparing inland and coastal settings. Their current opening dates, property details and availability must be confirmed directly.

Choose the order around flights, arrival times and the days you want to spend walking or visiting the beach. Nearby on a regional map does not establish a shared booking arrangement.

Coordinate both halves before committing

Ask both owners to confirm dates and minimum stays. Check the written terms for each property, including payment, cancellation and any deposit. One confirmed half does not reserve the other.

If arrival dates move, discuss the effect on both bookings before changing travel. Keep the contacts and confirmations together so the group can see the complete plan.

Give the moving day breathing room

Agree checkout and check-in, the vehicle or transfer, luggage capacity and any storage while waiting for the next property. Ask about groceries, keys and the final road approach at the second house.

If the moving day includes an outing, work out what happens to bags and who is responsible for the transfer. Treat a guided walk, charter or chef arrangement as a separately confirmed service.

Match the season to each house

For spring and autumn, combine selected walking days with a coastal base and rest time. For winter, compare indoor heating and service operation at both villas before planning a longer combination.

Tell us your dates and priorities if you want help framing the choice. The Lycian Collection concierge can discuss transfers and experiences directly; availability and costs require confirmation.
