Identity & Authority
We check who is entering the collection and whether the owner or authorised manager has evidence supporting their right to market the property.
A villa may carry the Verified Villa mark only after Turquoise Society has completed its current checks for owner or authorised-manager identity, property authority, applicable permit information, core listing facts, content rights and direct contact arrangements.
What We Check
We check who is entering the collection and whether the owner or authorised manager has evidence supporting their right to market the property.
Where required, we review the tourism-rental permit and reconcile the core property and occupancy information used in the listing.
Material claims about the villa, its location, access and facilities must be supported rather than inferred from a broad destination label.
The guest enquiry route is tested so that communication reaches the owner or authorised contact represented on the listing.
Verification is not permanent. We review listings over time and can pause or remove Verified Villa status if supporting information changes.
The mark is shown only after the mandatory Society Standard controls have been recorded as passed or properly not applicable, with no unresolved blocking issue.
What it means
Verified Villa means Turquoise Society has completed the verification process applicable at that time and has recorded an approved decision. Where Turkish marketing rules require permit information or a permit copy to be shown, the listing is intended to include that information as part of the publication process.
If information becomes stale, inconsistent or materially uncertain, verification can be paused and the mark removed while the position is checked.
What it does not mean
The Society Standard is a Turquoise Society due-diligence and publication process. It is not a government approval, a statutory inspection, a guarantee that no defect can arise, or a promise that availability will never change.
Owners and authorised accommodation providers remain responsible for maintaining the permits, property condition, legal authority and booking obligations that apply to them.
Verification Questions
Verification should build confidence through precision. It is a recorded due-diligence process, not a substitute for regulation or a guarantee against future issues.
